Nottingham is the home of the Curious Cabaret founded by Chris Wilder. A parlour show which takes place on the first week of every month, Chris himself is host and compere of the show, he then hires the best Magicians from around the world to come and perform on the stage. What makes this show unique and unlike any other is the vast amount of different and adverse acts that step to the stage. Magicians, Mentalists, Comedy and Illusionists. The show is constantly growing and it’s an absolute privilege to get to be apart of something so special. But what would a show be without a team? As of 2025 we now have a crew which consists of Sound, Lighting and Staging. Last month for the first time we doubled the monthly show performances and went on a mini tour, we branched out of Nottingham with shows at ‘Newstart Theatre’ In Mansfield and the ‘The Blue Rooms Theatre’ in Lincoln, along with our regular monthly shows at ‘The Berliner’ In Beeston and ‘The Cosy Club’ In Nottingham City Centre. If you are ever in the area or are local, please be sure to search ‘The Curious Cabaret’ to book onto a show!
